We usually having this on certain occasion like birthday or anniversary, etc. But we also can find it at some Indonesian Restaurant! And of course you don't have to wait for any occasion to cook the yellow rice!
Last time before I become active in cooking Indonesian food, he always miss Indonesian food! But since then, no more! He said that he doesn't miss Indonesian food anymore because he can get it at home! And he complemented me that I cook very tasty Indonesian food!
You can add fried chicken, eggs and other dishes to be eaten together with this rice!

Please find the recipe below:
- 4 cups rice
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 lemon grass (smash)
- 70 ml coconut milk
- 1 cm turmeric
- 4 shallots (small size)
- 5 cloves garlics
- Clean the rice, add water, salt, pureed ingredients and also coconut milk. Mix well.
- Add in bay leaves and lemon grass.
- Make sure all are mixed well.
- Turn on the rice cooker.
- After it is cooked, ready to serve!
So simple, isn't it? It's just more work for the complementary dishes. But it is all worth it to prepare and make people around you happy and enjoy the food!
